2 General Use of the Website
2.1 External hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. This may be, for example, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact data, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website.
The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offer by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its service obligations and follow our instructions regarding this data.
2.2 Access Data
We collect information about you if you use this website. We record information automatically about your use behavior and your interaction with us and register data about your computer or mobile device. We record, store and use data each time our website is accessed (server log files). The access data include name and URL of the file accessed, date and time of access, quantity of data transferred, reporting of successful access (HTTP response code), browser type and browser version, operating system, referrer URL (i.e., the page that was visited previously), IP address, and the enquiring provider.
We use these protocol data without allocating it to you personally and without otherwise creating a profile for statistical evaluations for the purposes of the operation, security and optimization of our website, but also for the anonymous recording of the number of visitors to our website (traffic), as well as of the scope and nature of the use of our website and services, and also for invoicing purposes in order to measure the number of clicks received by cooperation partners. Based on this information, we may make available personalized and location-based content and analyze data traffic, search for and correct errors, and improve our services. We reserve the right to check the protocol data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence. We store IP addresses for a limited period in the log files, if this is necessary for security purposes or for the performance of services or for invoicing of services, e.g., if you take advantage of one of our offers. After the discontinuation of the order procedure or after receipt of payment, we delete the IP address, if it is no longer necessary for security purposes. We also store IP addresses if we have a concrete suspicion of a criminal offense in connection with the use of our website. In addition, we store the date of the last visit as part of your account (e.g., in case of registration, login, clicking on links, etc.).
2.3 Email Contact
If you get in touch with us (e.g., by contact forms or email), we store your information in order to handle the enquiry and also in case there are follow-up questions. We store additional personal data and only use them if you give your consent or if this is legally permitted without separate consent.
2.4 Cookies
Our Internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser. In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising. Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited. Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.
2.5 Legal Basis and Duration of Storage
The legal basis for data processing in accordance with the aforementioned items is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our interests in the data processing relate in particular to the safeguarding of the operation and security of the website, the examination of the nature of the use of the website by users, and the simplification of the use of the website.
Unless specifically stated, we will store your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the intended purposes.
3 Plugins and tools
3.1 MyFonts
This site uses so-called web fonts from MyFonts Inc., 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801 USA (hereinafter: MyFonts) for the uniform display of fonts. These are fonts that are loaded into your browser when you visit our website in order to ensure a uniform typeface when displaying the website.
3.2 Use of code.jquery.com
Our website uses jQuery as a Javascript framework. In this regard, program libraries are called from jQuery servers. Google's CDN (content delivery network) is used. If you have previously used jQuery on another page from the jQuery CDN, your browser will fall back to the cached copy. If this is not the case, this will require a download, whereby data from your browser will reach the jQuery Foundation ("jQuery.org"). During this download, connection data (e.g., the IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to the provider. For more information, see: https://code.jquery.com/ and the jQuery Foundation Code of Conduct.
3.3 Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Our website uses MaxCDN (BootstrapCDN), a CDN provided by NetDNA, LLC (3575 Cahuenga Blvd. West, Suite 330, Los Angeles, CA 90068, USA; "MaxCDN"). CDN have the effect of reducing the loading time of common Java Script libraries and fonts because the files are transferred from fast, near-site or under-utilized servers. Among other things, your IP address is transferred to MaxCDN. Both providers operate servers in the EU, but it cannot be ruled out that your browser also accesses servers outside the EU. The contents of our service and communication are not handled via CDN. To prevent the execution of JavaScript altogether, you can install a JavaScript blocker in your browser. You can find more information about the privacy policy of the providers at https://www.bootstrapcdn.com/privacy-policy/.
